Born and raised in Harrison, Arkansas,
Juanita M. Cecil resided for most of her adult life in Little Rock
with her husband and four children. Juanita graduated from Valley
Springs High School with honors. She was a star graduate of the Dale
Carnegie Public Relations classes, with whom she worked thereafter
as a Graduate Assistant. She has also done national advertising for
Dale Carnegie Courses in both magazines and radio media. Juanita
excels in Customer Relation Services and National Account positions.
Juanita and her husband, Roy, have lived
in Hannibal since 1994. She has been associated with Cary, Welch
& Hickman since 2000, and is currently employed exclusively by
the Estate Planning Center as Services Coordinator.
Juanita stays active in church
activities and the occasional political campaign and enjoys reading,
working word puzzles, traveling and, most importantly, spending time
with family, especially her 5 granddaughters.

Mary Lou Brennan, Funding
Coordinator, grew up in rural Clark County, Missouri, attended
school in St. Patrick, Missouri and graduated as Salutatorian. A
consummate student, Mary Lou has taken a variety of courses through
the Institute of Financial and Business Education as well as various
continuing education courses in real estate, taxes and areas of the
law that have an effect on the elderly.
Mary Lou packs a whopping thirty-five
years of experience in office management and administration,
including twenty-five years in a Law Office in general office
management, which included extensive work in the fields of real
estate, taxes and insurance. She was also, for fifteen years, the
Administrator of Mark Twain Legal Services, which provided legal
service for the elderly in sixteen counties of Northeast Missouri.
Mary Lou's prior work experience also
includes serving as Assistant Vice-President and Branch Manager of a
full service branch of a savings and loan, as well as office manager
of an insurance office.
In addition Mary Lou has served on a
number of area and state committees, including service as a lay
member of the Missouri Bar Committee for the Delivery of Legal
Services; the Missouri Task Force in preparation for the White House
Conference on Aging; and delegate to the White House Conference on
Aging in May, 1995. Mary Lou was also appointed to the Advisory
Council of the Northeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging, and served
as secretary for five years; served on the State Task Force on
Volunteerism; and started a Volunteer Guardianship Program in
Northeast Missouri in 1987, which she continues to support. She has
also served as consultant for Volunteer Guardianship Programs in St.
Charles and in Marthasville, Missouri; served on the Governor's
Council on Physical Fitness and Health; and served on the Lewis
County and Marion County Boards of the American Cancer Society, as
well as the Steering Committee of the Relay for Life.
Mary Lou has also served six years as a Board Member of the Northeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging and is currently serving her fifth term as Senator in the
Missouri Silver Haired Legislature, and is now serving as President Pro-Tem. She was appointed as a delegate to the White House Conference on Aging held in Washington, D.C. in December
2005.
Mary Lou has also taken an active part
in and held offices in River Road Toastmasters and Northeast
Missouri Toastmasters, the Kahoka Chamber of Commerce (where she
served as President), and numerous church and school activities. She
is also a charter member and past president of a women's financial
investment club, is currently a board member of the Hannibal
Community Foundation and a member and Director of the Hannibal
Lions' Club.
Her hobbies and interests include golf,
music, travel, enjoying her family and red wine. She has been heard
to remark that "life is a cabernet"!
